Globe Telecom sealed a comprehensive multi-year collaboration with The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia to bring Disney-branded content to the Filipino customers. The media, bloggers, and partners, along with their kids, were invited to a special event to witness these two companies make their partnership official.

“We are very happy to enter into a relationship with such an iconic brand.  Everyone loves Disney—that’s why we are excited to bring the brand closer to Filipinos and give the best content experience on their devices anytime, anywhere,” said Dan Horan, Globe senior advisor for Consumer Business.

This collaboration continues Globe’s journey of giving its Filipino customers globally innovative brands and content, including tie-ups with Facebook, Google, Viber, Spotify, NBA, Hooq, and WhatsApp.

“We are thrilled to bring the Disney brand of storytelling closer to more Filipinos through this collaboration with Globe,” said Rob Gilby, managing director of The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia. “With this unique collaboration, Disney fans in the Philippines will now be able to take their favorite stories and beloved characters everywhere they go across their choice of devices.”

Via Globe mobile or broadband, you can now access video-on-demand, long- and short-form programming, interactive content and games, theatrical releases, and retail promotions from brands such as Disney, Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, and Maker Studios across multiple devices.

Everyone at the event were treated to a lovely surprise when special guest and Disney legend Lea Salonga took the stage later on the program. Salonga performed the popular Disney tunes “Go The Distance,” from the animated movie Hercules, “Reflection” from Mulan, “Let It Go” from Frozen, and “A Whole New World” from Aladdin.
