Cherry Mobile becomes the first local brand to partner with Microsoft and Intel with the release of their Alpha series, Cherry Mobile’s first Windows phones and tablets. The event last September 9 at the Harbor Garden Tent in Sofitel Manila was attended by Cherry Mobile’s new endorser, Kim Chiu.

The Alpha series comprises two tablets, the Alpha Morph and Alpha Play, and two smartphones, the Alpha Style and Alpha Luxe, all running Windows 8.1 OS.

The Cherry Mobile Alpha Morph and Alpha Play tablets run on 1.33GHz quad-core processors and Intel Gen7 GPU. The Morph, priced at P11,999 , sports a 10-inch HD IPS display, 32GB internal storage, and 2GB RAM. It also comes with its own keyboard dock in-box.

The Cherry Mobile Alpha Play has an 8-inch screen, 16GB built-in storage, and 1GB RAM. It is offered at P7,999 .

Each tablet comes with a free 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365 Personal and free 1TB OneDrive storage.

The smartphones Alpha Style and Alpha Luxe are powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processors and Adreno graphics. Both devices run Senses UI.

The Alpha Style comes with a 4-inch 800 x 400 IPS display, 4GB internal storage, and 512MB RAM. The Luxe has a 5-inch 1280 x 720 HD display, 8GB memory, and 1GB RAM. These smartphones go for P2,999 and P4,999, respectively, and comes with free download of Office Mobile.
