Tired of waiting for your painfully slow smartphone to boot, launch an app, or open a file? Vivo, one of the newest global players to enter the Philippines, recently launched its Vivo V3 Max smartphone, which promises to offer a “faster than faster” performance and features such as faster fingerprint unlocking, faster charging, quick-launch camera, and a smart split function.

The V3 Max will be available in major retailers starting tomorrow, May 21, for P16,990. If you pre-order today in major MemoXpress, Mega Cellular, Fonetwist, ePhone, Twinline, CyberWidget, Flasher, and Silicon Valley stores in Metro Manila, you will receive a pair of Vivo headphones when you claim your V3 Max tomorrow. Those who purchase the Vivo V3 Max will also receive a Vivo tumbler, a Vivo selfie stick, Vivo stand ring, and an OTG USB cable until supplies last.

Vivo was recently cited in IDC’s first quarter 2016 report as one of the top five global mobile phone manufacturers.

The V3 Max, which Speed first saw in the flesh last April during its launch in Mumbai, India, is crafted in a metallic body that is CNC-machined to produce a textured finish to the frame. The V3 Max’s metal back is finished with zircon sand coating, and a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5.5” Full HD (1920×1080) display is used up front.

It rocks an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chip with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory (expandable up to 128GB) that should keep even demanding users satisfied. It runs on Vivo’s Funtouch OS 2.5 based on Android Lollipop 5.1.

The V3 Max’s 360˚ fingerprint touch recognition system can detect your finger from any angle, and allows you to unlock the phone in as little as 0.2 seconds from wake and 0.5 seconds in sleep mode.

The V3 Max is equipped with dual fast charging engines compatible with Qualcomm’s QC 2.0 international standard, a screen-split feature so you can multitask without having to exit an app, Long Screenshot, and Screen Recording that lets you record everything that you do onscreen, including the apps you open and the keys you press.
