Victorinox launches ultra-tough I.N.O.X. watch
User Rating

What more fitting way for Victorinox Swiss Army to celebrate its 130th anniversary than by launching a timepiece that is authentic to the brand—robust and reliable in all conditions.

The new I.N.O.X. watch passed with flying colors a battery of 130 strength tests, which include—but not limited to—temperature shocks from -57 to 71°C, a fall of 10m onto a smooth concrete surface, an 8-ton compression under a hydraulic press, and exposure to flame at a distance of 5mm for more than a minute.

I.N.O.X. comes from the French word for stainless steel, the solid, durable, and corrosion-resistant material that Victorinox adopted more than 50 years before it became the norm in the Swiss watch industry.

Present at the launch of the INOX was Victorinox Swiss Army CEO for Timepieces Alexander Bennouna, who flew in from Switzerland. Also introduced were brand ambassadors Marc Nelson, Andrew Wolf, and John Spainhour.
