To cap off its fun-filled media thanksgiving, Toyota Motors Philippines finished the night strong with the unveiling of the the much-awaited 2nd-generation Toyota Fortuner.

Toyota’s 2nd-generation Fortuner, whose predecessor was introduced to the country back in 2005, gets an overhaul in aesthetics and performance. Toyota Motors Philippines promises its customers more powerful and smoother ride in the new GD series engine and premium features on both the G and V grade Fortuners.

Both the G and V grade carry the same outside aesthetic appearance, featuring a new front fascia, bolder angles, and wider stance. The G grade comes equipped with sporty 17-inch alloy wheels, while the V grade bears heftier 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the V grade boasts hues of dark brown and black with wood trim details while the G grade’s interior comes in chamois and black with dark wood trim details. The all-new Fortuner comes with a capacitive touchscreen, navigation and multi-information display, and Drive Mode Select for easy switching between efficiency and power for the G and the V grades.

Asserting a modern driving performance, the 2016 Toyota Fortuner sports a new GD series engine maximized by the newly developed six-speed transmission.

The 2016 Toyota Fortuner will come in seven different colorways: Attitude Black Mica, Gray Metallic, Phantom Brown Metallic, Avant-Garde Bronze Metallic, Silver Metallic, Freedom White, and White Pearl (additional P15,000) and will come in five different variants:
