Suzuki Philippines continues to help Filipino communities that are affected by recent calamities that hit the country through the company’s SUZUKI Helps, Aids & Rebuilds (SHARE) program and a partnership with the Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc. for the Sagip Kapamilya.

Tropical depression Lando (international name Koppu) left widespread devastation in the country’s infrastructures and agriculture, causing a big impact on the lives of most of our countrymen in the North Luzon provinces. Suzuki gives back to these Filipinos by providing aid to fellow Filipinos the Suzuki way.

For the second time, Team Suzuki extended their help to the Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc. through cash donation.

“This is the time when our fellowmen need us most and we, in Suzuki Philippines ensure that we extend our help to those who are in need. It is time for us to pay-it-forward and do our share in rebuilding the lives of our countrymen affected by typhoon Lando,” said Suzuki Foundation, Inc. President and Suzuki Philippines, Inc. Managing Director Norminio Mojica.

“We in Japan have the same experience in catastrophes and calamities such as earthquakes and typhoons like this one. We feel the hardships of the people affected thus we make it a point to help in any way we can,” Suzuki Philippines, Inc. President Mr. Hiroshi Suzuki shared.

“This help will go a long way. Other than relief operations, funds remaining from the donations will go to livelihood programs that Sagip Kapamilya develops for the typhoon victims to help them in their long term recovery. We are very thankful to Suzuki for trusting us,” Sagip Kapamilya Program Director Mr. Higino Dungo, Jr. said during the donation turnover.

At the same time, the company’s SHARE program will continue to extend help in Pangasinan from November 3 to 4, 2015 in Urdaneta City and from November 5 to 6, 2015 at San Carlos.
