Sony announced a new high-definition audio device at the 2015 CES (International Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Sony Walkman NW-ZX2 is the company’s latest take on their classic music player, which has been in production for 35 years. A successor to the Sony Walkman NW-ZX1, the ZX2’s frame is made of solid aluminum alloy, while the gold-plated copper plate inside reduces electrical impedance to help assist with overall sound quality.

This high-resolution music player is powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with key features such as one-touch listening via NFC and Bluetooth connectivity, S-Master HX Digital Amplifier, and built-in equalizer. For an optimal audio experience, the ZX2 supports DSD, WAV, AIFF, FLAC, Apple Lossless, and other formats.

The Sony Walkman NW-ZX2 will be available at a premium price tag of $1,199.99. Availability is yet to be announced.
