A one-of-a-kind visual display marked the official opening of the Galaxy Studio venue and introduction of the new Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch.

Samsung Philippines turned the SM Mall of Asia LED Globe into a giant Samsung Gear S2, the company’s revolutionary smartwatch that sports a circular display, rotating bezel, and wireless features for fitness junkies, lifestyle tropes, and tech-savvy customers.

This latest innovation from the tech company boasts  a more versatile approach to user experience with the rotating bezel control, pre-installed apps like the S Health fitness tracker, and 1.2-inch super AMOLED display. The Gear S2’s interchangeable watch strap allows you to switch up your style to fit the occasion.

Through third-party applications, the Samsung Gear S2 can also function as a remote control for other devices and even vehicles. To demonstrate these cool functions, the Gear S2 was used to lock and unlock the doors of a Limited Edition Volkswagen Beetle 1.4L Turbo during the event, while the S Health app that tracks heart rate, calories, and miles was put to test by a user working out on an indoor bike.

Also introduced during the event are the Samsung Gear S2 ambassadors, including fashion designer Francis Libiran, fashion photographer BJ pascual, radio DJ Andi Manzano, and more.

The Samsung Galaxy Studio will be at the SM Mall of Asia Cyberzone from November 27 to December 5, 2015, allowing customers and Samsung fans to try out the Gear S2 smartwatch, as well as other Samsung products like the Samsung Gear VR  headset and the Samsung Level On wireless headphones.
