Following their GALAXY S6 edge, which features a world’s first dual-edge display, Samsung once again broke boundaries by launching two powerful mobile devices. The wait is finally over as the mobile device tycoon launched globally in New York City, U.S.A. the newest additions to Samsung’s innovative suite: the Samsung GALAXY S6 edge+ and the Samsung GALAXY Note5.

Locally, Samsung Electronics Philippines hosted an Unpacked event at the Marriott Manila to unveil the two new flagship devices to media, bloggers, and loyal Samsung users. Led by Business Unit Head for IT & Mobile Digs Dimagiba, Category Head for Smartphones Ivan Pua, and Marketing Head for IT & Mobile Nio Judalena, Samsung Electronics Philippines gave local media and loyal consumers an intimate introduction and a chance to be the first to experience the all-new Samsung GALAXY Note5 and S6 edge+.

While both phones are pleasing to vision and touch, the new gadgets also have other cool perks in store for you. Inside the sleek tech is a powerhouse that’s designed to let you get the maximum potential out of your mobile device. The phones’ easy-to-use features make life simpler and stylized, too. With both devices being the biggest yet in the GALAXY family, the Note 5 and S6 edge+ dish out performance worthy of their name.

Both the Samsung GALAXY S6 edge+ and the GALAXY Note5 are equipped with a 64-bit Exynos octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, and come in either a 32 or 64GB variant. The smartphones are also equipped with the latest Android Lollipop OS, which is compatible with future Android updates, dual LTE SIM compatibility. The S6 edge+ and Note 5 both carry a 16MP rear shooter and a 5MP front camera, plus added shoot modes and the video collage feature.

The GALAXY Note5 and GALAXY S6 edge+ are available for preview and pre-order on all Samsung Experience stores nationwide from August 17 until the end of the month.

The Samsung GALAXY Note5 retails for P36,990, while the Samsung GALAXY S6 edge+ costs P39,990 for the 32GB variant and P44,990 for the 64GB. Pre-ordered units come with freebies such as a wireless charging dock (P2,299), an Uber ride worth P500, a one-year warranty for theft, accidental, or water damage, and two-year extended Samsung warranty.
