NCIS: Los Angeles is back for a sixth season this July and the action returns in an intensely thrilling premiere to reveal the fates of the NCIS team.

At the end of the last season, special agents ‘G’ Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) are left trapped in a drug cartel submarine that was packed with the explosive substance ammonium nitrate. The series returns right back to cliffhanger, where terrorists are planning to destroy an aircraft carrier off San Diego using the armed submarine in which Callen and Sam are still trapped. The situation deteriorates as they lose contact with their team who are trying to locate the submarine and stop the attack. As the clock runs down, Callen and Sam realize that to prevent the disaster they may have to die. As the team tries to locate and save the two agents, the focus also falls squarely onto Hetty’s (Linda Hunt) struggle as she is due in Washington to be questioned by the Senate for her failed mission in Afghanistan.

NCIS: Los Angeles continues to delve into the high-stakes world of an NCIS division in charge with apprehending dangerous and elusive criminals that pose a threat to the nation’s security. By assuming false identities and utilizing the most advanced technology, this team of highly trained agents goes deep undercover, putting their lives on the lineto bring down their targets.

Special Agent “G” Callen is a chameleon who transforms himself into whomever he needs to be to infiltrate the criminal underworld. His partner, Special Agent Sam Hanna, is a former U.S. Navy SEAL who has seen action in both Afghanistan and Iraq. Assisting the team is the all-knowing Henrietta “Hetty” Lange, who oversees the staff and is tasked with providing everything from micro-surveillance cameras to cars for the team.

Also part of the team are: Special Agent Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah), the exceptionally bright daughter of a slain Marine; Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen), a seasoned LAPD undercover detective who was recruited to the team by Hetty; Tech Operator Eric Beale (Barrett Foa), a gadget and computer master in the Ops Center; and the recent addition, Intelligence Analyst Nell Jones (Renée Felice Smith), who won the team’s respect with her spot-on intelligence assessments and her shrewd insights. Armed with the latest in high tech gear and sent regularly into life-threatening situations, this tight-knit unit relies on each other to do what is necessary to protect national interests.

NCIS: Los Angeles season 6 premieres first and exclusively on AXN on July 2 in the Philippines, Thursdays, at 9:45p.m.

AXN is seen on SKYcable channel 49, Cignal Digital TV channel 49, Cable Link channel 38, and Destiny Cable 61.
