Nokia has announced that Lumia 925 will be available worldwide starting this June.

The latest in the Finnish company’s line of high-end Windows-powered handsets showcases the latest in PureView camera innovation, new features, and numerous third-party applications. The Lumia 925 also offers a sleek new metal casing with polycarbonate covers on the rear and GorillaGlass on the display for added protection.


Nokia’s focus on smartphone photography is stronger than ever. The Lumia 925 is equipped with an 8.7-megapixel PureView camera with OIS and Carl Zeiss optics. The phone also opts for a dual-LED flash instead of a Xenon flash found in older Lumia models. To sweeten the deal, Nokia introduces the new Nokia Smart Camera mode that offers easy ways to capture up to 10 images at once. Other shooting modes such as Best Shot, Action Shot, and Motion Focus are available to achieve the perfect image.

Even more, Nokia services such as the HERE for integrated location and navigation , and Nokia Music for unlimited streaming of free music are accessible on the Lumia 925.

Nokia has also announced that Hipstamatic’s new app, Oggl, will arrive on new Lumia smartphones. Oggl provides uploading high quality photographs on the go while simultaneously syncing them with your favourite social networks like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Under the hood, the Nokia Lumia 925 comes with the latest Windows Phone OS and a 4.5-inch AMOLED display with a 1280 x 768-pixel resolution. Powering it is a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. It has 1 GB RAM as well as 16 GB internal storage.
