Expanding its reach across the ASEAN region, including the Philippines, predictive flash storage provider Nimble Storage officially announced its partnership with MSI-ECS last April 11 at Makati Shangri-La Hotel.

Nimble Storage provides a fast, safe, and efficient way to access and move data through its new Predictive Flash Platform. This technology allows customers to access to data in a flash as well as utilize predictive analytics to foresee and prevent barriers to data velocity caused by complex IT infrastructures.

Nimble Storage claims its predictive analytics can help avoid downtime by detecting nine out of 10 problems that a user cannot otherwise immediately identify. The company also promises that the technology is cost-efficient, with a lower total cost of ownership by 33 to 66 percent.

The Predictive Flash Platform is housed in a unified flash fabric that integrates all flash and adaptive flash arrays into a single entity that is manageable from a single device, making the system more convenient to use and maintain. Theo Hourmouzis, Nimble Storage Director of Channel Sales in the Asia Pacific and Japan, Rachel Ler, Nimble Storage Regional Country Manager-ASEAN, and MSI-ECS President Jimmy Go led the partnership program, where MSI-ECS was also announced as the official distributor of Nimble Storare products.

Go claims Nimble Storage’s technology is a dependable tool capable of multiple functions. “The availability of these architectures minimizes the challenges associated with deploying application, server, hypervisor, networking, and storage components as an integrated solution,” he said.

“Our extensive partnership with other technology leaders reduces converged infrastructure architectural complexity, making it more accessible to our partners to offer end-to-end solutions to their customers to meet changing requirements,” Go added.

Today, over 7,500 enterprises, governments, and service providers are using the Nimble Storage technologies in over 50 countries, including NASA, Coca-Cola, GE, Bosch, Samsung, and Unilever to name a few.

In the Philippines, Globe, PLDT, 2GO, Fujitsu, Rustan’s, and SPi Global are some of the companies that have integrated the Nimble Storage in their system. The Philippines currently ranks as the second largest revenue contributor for Nimble Storage in Asia next to Singapore.
