Netflix launched its internet TV service to more than 130 new countries around the world, including the Philippines. The video-streaming made the announcement during the keynote of its Co-founder and Chief Executive Reed Hastings at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Since Netflix launched its streaming service in 2007, it has expanded globally, first to Canada, then to Latin America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan to include 60 countries.

Now TV and movie buffs here in the Philippines can now enjoy Netflix on their devices. Other subscription available are the Standard (P460) and Premium plans (P550), which add HD and Ultra HD capabilities, as well as number screens for viewing at once.

Netflix also added Arabic, Korean, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese to the 17 languages it already supports.

You can now visit Netflix Philippines at to start using the service. The first month of your subscription is free. There is no locking-period and you can cancel your subscription anytime.
