LG Electronics Philippines released the first-ever smartphone to feature a Manual Video Mode. Designed for users who want to capture special life moments on video and easily post-process them on-the-go, the LG V10 is the company’s newest premium phone offering.

With the V10’s Manual Video Mode function, users can adjust the shutter speed, frame rate, ISO, white balance, and focus of its 16MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) 2.0.  The V10, however, also comes with a 5MP Dual Front Camera that uses two separate lenses to shoot 80-degree and 120-degree images.

LG also equipped the V10 with enhanced shooting functions, including: a Steady Record feature that uses electronic image stabilization technology for shake reduction; a Snap Video Mode that allows you to easily combine shorter videos; a 15-second Auto Edit feature that can eliminate blurred frames and static scenes; and a Quick Video Editor that lets you edit videos and add effects such as colors and background music.

Another cool thing the V10 has is the Multi-View window feature that lets you use all three cameras—the Dual Front Camera and the rear camera—simultaneously. A Quick Share function, meanwhile, shows a pop-up window after your video recording, so you can quickly share it to your favorite social media networks. The Audio Monitoring function monitors and adjusts the sensitivity of the V10’s three built-in microphones, while the Wind Noise Filter ensures external noise is negated from the backdrop.

Complementing the V10’s shooting power is the 3000mAh battery and the capability to support up to 2TB microSD storage apart from the 64GB built-in memory.

The Dura Guard frame protects the V10 from accidental drops and ensures the phone’s maximum durability. The Dura Skin silicone back cover provides soft handles while protecting it from scratches.

“The LG V10 is yet another feat for our growing smartphone line as it is designed primarily for heavy users of both multi-media features and of course, the ever-growing social media universe – all packaged in a smartphone,” said Jay Won, Vice President for LG Mobile Philippines.

“We are always out to push the boundaries of innovation and we believe that with the LG V10 we achieved more than we had hoped for,” he added.
With a price tag of  P37,990, here are the rest of the specs of the new LG V10:
