The South Korean consumer electronics giant achieves a new milestone in the local mobile technology scene with the launch of the new Optimus L SeriesII.

This new line of phones, composed of the L3II, L5II, and L7II, offers sleek, stylish designs and more advanced Android technology than that of its predecessor. The L SeriesII boasts four new design elements: Seamless Layout, Laser Cut Contour, Radiant Rear Design, and Smart LED lighting on the home button, for that edgy look.

Aside from the new sleek design, LG offers new user convenient features such as the QuickMemo which allows quick capture and sharing of handwritten ideas at the swipe of a finger. Another new feature is the LG-exclusive Cheese Stutter, the voice-activated camera trigger that works on pre-defined commands like “cheese” and “smile.”

LG formally introduced their brand new models during the event at SM Mall of Asia: actor-model-singer Paulo Avelino, actress-model-blogger Maxene Magalona, and Ateneo Blue Eagle star guard Kiefer Ravena. Nina Gregorius, marketing manager of LG, explains how they chose the new ambassadors, “these three new faces are young, successful, go-getting individuals who embody the brilliance and confidence that define our product.”

The launch was also highlighted by a successful on-the-spot P2,000 sale on all L SeriesII models from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Optimus L SeriesII lineup is available starting May 2013.
