Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology is finally here via the 9th-generation Accord, a sexy and spacious sedan that boasts of enhanced fuel efficiency and performance.

The all-new Accord is available in two variants: the 2.4-liter, DOHC i-VTEC four-cylinder engine with 173hp and 226Nm, and the 3.5-liter V6 engine with 277hp and 339Nm.

For improved fuel economy, the executive sedan comes with an Eco Assist System that controls the engine, drive-by-wire, transmission, and air conditioning performance. Eco Coaching Lights in the instrument cluster nag you when you’re being aggressive with the gas pedal. Gear shifting is also at your fingertips—literally—with paddle shifters mounted on the leather-wrapped steering wheel.

For peace of mind, the Accord comes with driver and passenger SRS airbags, side airbags (the 3.5SV variant even comes with curtain airbags!), anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, vehicle stability assist, and hill start assist.

It also features new LED dual projector type headlights, which are brighter and 50 percent more efficient than conventional headlights. Active cornering lights, meanwhile, give you a clearer side-illumination when turning.

The Accord is now available at Honda dealerships for P1,720,000 for the 2.4 S and P2,097,000 for the 3.5 SV.
