With today’s fast-paced lifestyle, smartphones and tablets need to keep up. Knowing this, Intel recently launched its new Atom processors that promise to deliver dual-core performance built on Intel’s 32-nanometer process technology.

The new processors’ integration with mobile devices is based on the Silvermont micro-architecture. Among Intel’s latest Atom Processors are the Z2580, Z2560, and Z2520 designed for smartphones and tablets.

The processors aim to help users get the most out of their devices’ battery life with five different power-saving modes as opposed to the usual three.

Intel Asia-Pacific Director for Product Marketing and Pricing Leighton Phillips was present at the launch.
