Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) officially launched the 2016 Honda Pilot at EDSA Shangri-la Hotel in Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City.

Designed and developed by Honda R&D Americas, Inc., the all-new Pilot showcases generous space, powerful and dynamic performance, advanced technology, and premium features.

Honda’s redesigned premium SUV sports a sleek design accentuated by distinctive character lines and aggressive new face. The LED Projector Type Headlight with Signature LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL), LED Tail Lights, and 18-inch alloy wheels complete the Pilot’s modern exterior.

High-quality soft-touch material, posh black leather, and available ambient lighting can be found all throughout the cabin. For audio and entertainment, the SUV has an eight-inch Touchscreen Display Audio interface that is powered by a new Android-based operating system.

Features such as Bluetooth, HDMI, USB Connectivity, and seven speakers are fitted into the Honda Pilot’s cockpit, plus a nine-inch Entertainment System with DVD and HDMI capability for your entertainment needs.

The all-new Pilot has a 10-way Power Seat with memory for the driver and a four-way Power Seat for the passenger, making your ride inside its spacious cabin a truly contemporary experience. Its eight-passenger seating capacity with a 60:40 split second row seat allows for maximum comfort.

With an additional three inches to the Honda Pilot’s overall length, you can have more cargo flexibility without compromising the third row seating. A Flexible Cargo Management System features a two-position cargo lid that enables item storage in a lower compartment and is adjustable to provide higher cargo space.

With just one touch of the Honda Pilot’s One Touch Walk-in feature, the second row seat slides and tilts for easier third row passenger entry and exit.

Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology 3.5L Direct Injection i-VTEC V6 engine with Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) and a 6-speed Automatic Transmission are featured in the all-new Pilot, delivering maximum power output of 284ps. In addition, this SUV comes with the new Intelligent Variable Torque Management (i-VTM4), an All Wheel Drive system with torque-vectoring function, and a new Intelligent Traction Management, which offers four different All Wheel Drive modes (normal, snow, mud, and sand).

The 2016 Pilot boasts its Advance Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure and Honda Sensing feature. The Advance Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure not only absorbs and disperses the energy of a frontal collision, but also protects the occupants from frontal and side impacts with efficient ultra-high strength door ring design. On the other hand, the Honda Sensing effectively prevents and responds to dangerous driving situations by expanding the driver’s situational awareness.

Other standard safety features include four-channel Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS) with Brake Assist and Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Blind Spot Information System, Cross Traffic Monitor, Driver and Front Passenger Airbags, Driver and Passenger Side Airbag, and complete Side Curtain Airbag. Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) with real-time display of individual tire pressures has also been added in the All-New Pilot.

Coming in White Diamond Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, and Modern Steel Metallic, the all-new Honda Pilot is available at all Honda dealerships with a suggested retail price of P3,380,000. Add P20,000 on top of the retail price if you want to get the White Diamond Pearl colorway, while the Dark Cherry Pearl variant is only available on a per order basis.

Catch the all-new Honda Pilot on display along with other Honda vehicles in Shangri-La Plaza Mall, Level 1 from February 24 to 28, 2016 to avail of exclusive offers. For more information, visit
