Last November 7, Garmin opened their first concept store in the Philippines at 3/F Glorietta 5, bringing in a slew of their latest devices in the country.

The store opening was headed by Garmin’s celebrity ambassadors: Kim Atienza, Gilbert Remulla, Erwan Heussaff, and Isabelle Daza, collectively known as Team ‘Gotta.’ Also in attendance is Garmin/Navco ‘s president Neil Tan, accompanied by his father Tony Tan.

One of the products introduced is the entry-level Vivofit. Priced at P8,490, this fitness tracker can monitor your heart rate, record your distance, and display your calories.

Also unveiled is Forerunner 10 smartwatch designed for running. It features a GPS tracker, distance calculator, and coaching pacer, and is priced at P8,990.

Other devices featured at the event include the Garmin Virb Elite action camera, which is reviewed in Speed November 2014, and the Garmin Nuvi navigation device, reviewed in Speed June 2014.
