With the latest technology in tow, American motor company Ford released here in the Philippines their most advanced version yet of the company’s most iconic car—the Ford Mustang.

Kay Hart, Ford Philippines’ managing director, said that they are excited to bring this new-generation Mustang to the Philippines.

The all-new Mustang features a clean-sheet exterior design, which evokes the essential character that distinguishes this iconic car from the rest. Signature looks like the shark-bite front fascia and trapezoid grille are still present, along with a sleeker profile, longer hood, and short rear deck.

The new Mustang brings new benchmarks for Ford with its world-class dynamics, ride quality, a new front-rear suspension system, and the most capable brake lineup in history. This Ford Mustang sports an Aluminum reinforced 19-inch wheels and rear knuckles.

Providing comfort, style, and safety on the road,  the 6th-generation pony car comes with driver-assist features such as Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) and SYNC and AppLink for smartphone interaction and entertainment.  Toggle switches for drivers to adjust quickly to their needs and wants are also installed in the 6th-gen Mustang.

Ford’s new Mustang comes in two different types of high-performing engines. The 5.0L V8—the company’s most powerful GT engine to date—offers maximum performance, power, speed, and stability on the road, while the 2.3L EcoBoostengine offers balance in power and eco-friendliness, as well as gas efficiency, without giving up too much power and torque. The engines come hand-in-hand with the active grille shutters that help increase fuel efficiency and remove the need for additional cooling capacity.
