Think the iPod is dead? Apple doesn’t think so.

Amid the declining sales of the iPod, Apple updated its music player by giving it better cameras and a faster processor. The company also unveiled a new lineup of colors for all its iPod models, including space gray, silver, gold, pink, and blue.

Touted by the company as the best iPod touch yet, this ultra-portable iPod now features a new 8MP iSight camera, an improved FaceTime HD camera, the Apple-designed A8 chip with 10 times faster graphics performance, and the M8 motion coprocessor for better fitness tracking.

The new iPod Touch also enables Apple Music, is a $10-a-month service that offers unlimited playback of songs and playlist curated by the music experts from around the world and keeps you updated on music culture via its global 24/7 broadcast on Beats 1℠ radio.

“iPod touch gives customers around the world access to Apple Music, the App Store, and iOS, the world’s most advanced mobile operating system, starting at just $199,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of iPhone, iPod, and iOS Product Marketing. “With big advancements like the A8 chip and the 8 megapixel iSight camera, customers can experience next-level gameplay, take even more beautiful photos and enjoy their favorite music, TV shows and movies.”

You can play more immersive games for hours with the new iPod touch, thanks to the fitted A8 chip and improved battery life. The 4-inch Retina display and rich collection of gaming titles, enhanced with incredible graphics performance and thousands of Metal-optimized games, gives you more enjoyment when playing on the iPod touch. With the advanced iSight and FaceTime HD cameras, iPod touch owners cna now have fun with popular features including slo-mo and burst mode. The Apple iPod touch comes with iOS 8, a collection of powerful built-in apps, and a three times faster Wi-Fi, letting you stay in touch with friends and family through FaceTime calls, and download movies and TV shows with ease.

Priced at $199 for the 16GB model, $249 for 32GB, and $299 for 64GB, the new iPod touch is available in gold in addition to the new dark blue and pink case options. The iPod shuffle and iPod nano also gets the additional dark blue, pink, and gold variants.
