Internet activist and computer programmer Aaron Swartz (1986-2014) was involved in key cyber developments such as RSS, Reddit, and Creative Commons before his suicide on January 11, 2013, after he was sentenced to 35 years in prison for wire fraud, among others.

Filmmaker Brian Knappenberger (We Are Legion: The Story of the Hacktivists) explores the genius and political revolutionary’s journey from breaking into the internet scene to the impact of his unfortunate demise on legalities of cyber fraud and online freedoms.
